SAMPLE DISC INFO-POWER WORKSHOPS

People Skills: Building Better Relationships at Work
This introductory workshop identifies the four behavioral styles and gives participants a clear picture of not only their behavioral style, but the styles of their colleagues. This workshop levels the playing field by focusing on behavior, not personality, and helps individuals understand how powerful behavior is in the workplace.

What You Will Learn:

1. How to increase your communication effectiveness with peers, subordinates, managers, supervisors, clients, customers and potential customers

2. The 4 DISC Styles: Dominant=Problem-oriented, Interactive=People-oriented, Steady=Pace-oriented and Conscientious=Procedures-oriented

3. Your Natural Style for Communicating with Others

4. Clues to Read Other People’s Style

5. Methods for Being More Effective with Others


Prior to the workshop, participants have completed their online DISC Assessment and assignments and participated in an individual 1/2 hour coaching session focused on understanding their unique style. Two weeks after completion of the workshop, participants attended a 1/2 hour coaching session to review their Action Plan.

Team Integration: Building Effective People Skills
Designed to work with teams, the primary goal of this workshop is to help teams understand the four primary DISC styles and their very observable, distinct behavior patterns and how they impact communications and relationships.

What You Will Learn:

1. Team Integration focuses on tolerance, acceptance and understanding of each unique style which leads to opening and facilitating lines of communication to enhance cooperation and collaboration among individuals, teams and departments.

2. The key to this session is discussion around how to adapt your style to better understand and work effectively with others.

Working Through Problems and Conflicts
